WELCOME TO FACE-UP (& FACE-UP2!)
The FACE-UP project tested culturally-appropriate personal interventions (respiratory protection) to reduce the exposure of urban children to particulate air pollution, a major risk factor for a range of non-communicable diseases that are hindering sustainable development in LMICs.
FACE-UP2 is implementing the findings of the FACE-UP project, through educational materials and strategies, and global children’s respiratory protection guidelines and standards.
